Burglary claims
Being burgled is upsetting. Many people feel angry, shocked or anxious afterwards, and some struggle to sleep. We can't take that away, but we can make sure the claim doesn't add to the stress.
How the claim process works
Once you tell your insurer, they appoint a loss adjuster to check the claim and whether you've met the terms of your policy. The adjuster is paid by the insurer and protects their interests. If they think a condition hasn't been met, they may try to reject the claim. If they think you're underinsured, they'll try to reduce the pay-out. They may also bring in specialists to interview you and look into your finances and claims history. A loss assessor takes that pressure off you.
